James G. Adams III was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He is a 2001 graduate of Hopkinsville High School. James attended the University of Kentucky, double majoring in finance and management. While in college, James held various leadership positions in Sigma Nu fraternity and was elected as the Executive Vice President for the UK Interfraternity Council. In law school, he was involved with the Trial Advocacy Board and during his final year interned as a Graduate Fellow at the Legislative Research Commission in Frankfort, Kentucky.
James’ approach to practicing law is practical, yet driven by attention to the details of your case. Although the youngest member of the firm, James has already obtained extensive civil litigation experience, from inception through trial and appeal.
James is active in the community as a board member in Rotary Club of Hopkinsville, an officer for Hopkinsville Young Professionals, and a trustee for First United Methodist Church, Hopkinsville. He graduated from the Leadership Hopkinsville program in 2011. He is a member of the Hopkinsville Athenaeum society. He is serving as President of the Christian County Bar Association for 2013-14.
James has been married to his wife Natalie since 2010. Natalie is originally from Owensboro, Kentucky and is employed as an accountant with Calhoun and Company CPAs. In his free time, James spends time with Natalie and their dog “Eve,” exercises at the YMCA, follows UK sports, Green Bay Packers football, and is an avid outdoorsman.
